GAIT ANALYSIS

& Performance-based system

UPPER EXTREMITY

Assessing your body's ability to allow the proper spinal joint motion in the gait cycle. Using chain reaction biomechanics® I will assess specific joint thresholds of the lumbar, thoracic spine and the entire kinetic chain for better core function.

BACK LEG OF GAIT

Assessing your body's ability to allow the proper joint motion in the exploding phase of the gait cycle. Using chain reaction biomechanics®

FRONT LEG OF GAIT

Assessing your body's ability to allow the proper joint motion in the loading phase of the gait cycle. Using chain reaction biomechanics®

Are you experiencing pain or discomfort while running? Are you looking to boost your running efficiency and performance?

Evaluate your functional running threshold, enhance your three-dimensional joint capacity, elevate your performance, and lower the risk of injury.

Using analysis, I will pinpoint threshold limitations in the KINETIC chain that are specifically related to running biomechanics. This will help alleviate pain and discomfort, restore regular function, and enhance your running efficiency.

RUNNING INJURIES

Movement Rehabilitation Performance

Running stands out as one of the most widely embraced methods for enhancing and sustaining fitness while maintaining health. Despite its numerous fitness benefits, the running community often contends with injuries. While acute injuries such as sprained ankles or torn muscles can occur unexpectedly, a substantial portion of running-related injuries stem from the cumulative effects of repetitive stress and suboptimal biomechanics.

Don’t ignore your pain!

I consider pain to be akin to an indicator light on a car's dashboard, much like the oil or service light. It serves as a signal, alerting us to a potential problem or disruption in the body's usual biomechanical functioning, and can be attributed to a wide range of causes. The challenge lies in the fact that pain is frequently overlooked, and we must recognise that it disrupts our natural movement patterns; it's the body's way of protecting itself. This tendency to neglect pain often leads to compensations, changes in biomechanics, and can compound strain or stress on specific areas of the body.

Getting to the cause

Conventional treatment and rehabilitation methods typically focus on alleviating symptoms and may offer short-term relief or enhancement. However, they often fall short of addressing the underlying root causes. My approach departs from these conventional models, with a focus on crafting strategies and injury plans that reach beyond mere symptom management and compensation. Instead, my goal is to actively tackle the factors that have contributed to the condition.

Functional rehabilitation, in essence, is dedicated to the restoration of regular function.
